Main Objectives

✓ Examine key theories and breakthroughs in the study of personality and asses how we can translate its lessons to our day-to-day experience.

✓ Shed light on commonly used terminology by looking into the source of the ideas, their evolution and criticism.

✓ Give the participants pathways to modernize their understanding of personality theory and see how it can be made relevant, in an ever-changing and dynamic world.

Expected Outcomes

Historical background

The participants gain a fresh outlook/perspective on personality theory in a historical context.

Understanding of the Jungian personality test

As one of the most popularly/commonly used tools in personality psychology, the Jungian personality test is emphasized and more than that, the participants are invited to consider the original hypotheses and ideas of Carl Jung in order to understand the background and evolution of his thought.

Examine a modern-day theoretical work

Examine a modern-day theoretical work by a relevant and popular author who is an expert in the field of personality study and critically asses the relevance of his propositions.

Apply knowledge in practice

By taking an up-to-date, relevant and critically oriented test, the participants can use what they learned to make an analysis of their personality traits and tensions, as well as discuss with others in a group setting.
